Nominated for Most Popular Gay Performers at the 5th Annual Pornhub Awards and named Models of the Month on Pornhub Gay in April 2023, Joshy and Locky joined the Model Program 3 years ago and have made their home in the top spots of the Model rankings. We sat down with the dynamic duo for Pride to talk about their journey and rising success.
How did you get your start in the industry?
We were a dynamic duo of full-time masseurs in Sydney, creating the most blissful 4-hand massage experience. We absolutely loved our job as masseurs, but we felt like there was more we could offer to the world. Our time in the adult massage industry gave us a unique perspective on what the porn world could be like, and we were excited to explore it further. When our Instagram couple's account got shadow banned, we saw it as a sign to switch gears and move to a more welcoming platform for our content, like Pornhub. We took a leap of faith and delved into the unknown world of porn, eager to share our love and art with the world. We like to say that the sport we play is sex, and we love experimenting with it. The best part is that after each hot and memorable game, we get to share it with you so that you can enjoy the magic too. We truly believe that working together is the key to success, and we are excited to continue our journey with each other and share our passion with the world.
What have been the biggest changes you’ve experienced from when you started until now?
When we started creating adult content, we were excited but didn't really know where to begin. We decided to let our creativity flow and make videos without a clear plan. As time went on, we realized that we needed to have some structure to consistently produce quality content. We established our own templates and processes, and this helped us stay on track. Another important change was that we learned to trust and believe in each other as a team, which made working together easier and improved our content. We're grateful for the digital connections we've made with our fans over the years. Their support means a lot to us. Finally, we've noticed that our love for each other has grown deeper and wider. And no, it's not just because of that girth!
Mental and physical wellness is something we see both of you take to heart in your online Vlog series! Tell us more about how you take care of yourselves and each other.
A nourished mind and body are essential for a fulfilling life. However, focusing solely on physical health neglects the importance of feeding the soul. We prioritize daily exercise, healthy eating, sun exposure, and stretching to maintain our physical well-being. Our optimistic outlook helps us tackle challenges as a team and celebrate every bit of progress we make. We cherish each other's personal growth and keep each other accountable. Fortunately, we are both goal-oriented individuals. We balance our responsibilities in personal and work life to live in harmony and avoid conflict. An example would be: Locky will prep and cook, and I will clean and pack. Both involve a starting line and a finish line. What grounds us are probably the multiple identities that we both play to balance our relationship. For example, we don't just view each other as husbands. Instead, we view each other as our best friend, teammate, workmate, therapist, teacher, coach, and most importantly, each other's soulmate. Perhaps doing so has helped tremendously with our work in porn in terms of fantasy and the role play of many different characters and scenarios.
All your social media profiles have the same bio: “Two men in love.” Tell us your love story!
In 2015 (8 years ago), fate brought us together on a dating app. I was 21 and Locky was 22, and we were both discovering our true selves while still in the closet. It was a new experience for us, but we found that our differences complemented each other perfectly, like yin and yang. Locky was drawn to my feminine energy while I was attracted to his masculine energy. Of course, it was more than just energy, it was his beautiful soul and adventurous spirit. Together, we took a bold step and decided to come out as a couple. It was a liberating experience that marked a new beginning for both of us. Since then, our love story unfolded quickly – we moved in together, then moved into the big city, worked together, got married, travelled the world, and now we create and share content online. Our tagline "Two men in love" really says it all – we are simply just two men who love each other deeply, and it's the love part that matters most. A quote Locky shared as he described how he felt about our love, "Two birds sitting in a tree, one is eating and the other one is the reason why the food tastes good."
Hot off your Pornhub Awards nomination and being named Pornhub Gay’s Models of the Month, what’s next for Joshy and Locky?
Thank you so much for the nomination! We are truly humbled and grateful for the recognition. While there have been many discussions about collaborating with other creators, we have found so much joy in creating content together that we feel it's important to continue exploring that dynamic, there's still so much that we haven't yet explored together as a couple. There are many times in our lives where we have applied the same theory of "let's not fix what isn’t broken," so I guess the same applies for our content, at least for now. We are open-minded individuals and are excited to collaborate with others. As for future plans, we are currently working on Season 2 of the Adventures of Joshy and Locky! And this time, Season 2 will be exclusively on Pornhub and our pay-to-view platform.
When you’re not creating content, what kind of activities and hobbies do the two of you have?
Off camera, we find peace in gardening and being surrounded by nature. Our mornings consist of reading or listening to podcasts or audiobooks, working out, and sharing meals together. One of our favorite shows that we first started watching when we were dating and still do now is Shark Tank. We find the innovation, entrepreneurship, and risk-taking aspects motivating, but the consistency of the show after so many seasons is still so inspiring. Our ‘dream walks’ are where we let our imaginations run wild and brainstorm ideas for the future. Ultimately, we dream of living in a tropical oasis, in a self-sufficient off-the-grid home where we can grow and harvest our own produce.
